Today was a tiring day! Woke up at about 6.30am for an event in the streets, called Summer Street. Today is the last day of the event hence we went down to have a feel of what its like.
They closed down an avenue all the way for people to cycle, jog, walk, run, skate, play etc with events coming from different sponsors around, giving free freebies and providing free snacks! How great right. SG will never had the chance of this because they would not be able to close down 1 whole stretch of road for an event. The stretch is really long, and i dunno how to describe the size of it.
Had an hour of cycle as theres an hour of rental free from a bike rental company. After that, went around for activities from different sponsors, ate snacks etc. We walked quite a long distance to look for Dexter's rock climbing area.
After that headed for lunch at a Thai Restaurant called Pongsri Thai Restaurant in Chinatown. Food there was far better than that we ate at Thainy. This was kind of more authentic rather than the one trying to "cheat" new yorkers that its thai food.
Went for some grocery shopping after lunch and headed back home after that. Shag max and all of us went back to take a nap except Dexter.
At night, Er yi prepared lobster feast and was delicious!
This is 7plus in the morning, look at how bright it is already.
Nice car spotted.
The road block they used to block the road for the event.
