Hi readers,
I'm currently third week into my work. Was really well settled into the job because of the people around. This job does provide the fun and enthu which will make you wanna go work everyday.
However, down to the earth, doubts do come in daily, and i really mean daily basis, either from loved ones, friends and family. So, we are living in Singapore, so what most ppl will worry about will be the salary, and yes, this work actually does post a big ? on it.
The answer was actually quite simple, either you make it or fail it, thats it. Make it, of course one could really become someone they want themselves to be, and fail it where one really become someone they do not expect themself to be. Tough decision, and really, nth is perfect in this world, even for a job, one could not expect to have the best of two worlds.
For now, its better to be working rather then sitting at home sending tons and tons of resumes etc. This job currently is really a great platform for personal development, i can say that after this 2 weeks, am much more positive, talkative and also knows how to take initiative. But then, with all these developments as the plus points, it sacrifices the salary part where as a degree graduate shouldnt be earning. Of course, in this line, if u were to work really hard and go for it, one could really earn alot, where theres no limit.
What i've learnt from the company is that " Sky isnt the limit when theres footsteps on the moon".

New Week, New Start, Think BIG!
Hello everyone!
Second week into my job and everything went smoothly. Closed a deal to day and felt so good. More coming tml and on Wed! The more deals I closed, the more $$$ I earn! Heh HEh!
This job of mine really is training me up to be some one who really know hows to socialise and talk to strangers, even worse, higher management individuals. Although I still need my trainer to be by my side, I'm able to do more and better then the previous day each and every day, I've learnt that if you feel that you've done better then the previous day, the day was not wasted and instead improved!
I've learnt really alot of things here in this company. Think BIG! Don't be negative. If you think you can, you can. Do whatever think you feel is right and if possible, the extra mile as successful people always do extra miles.
Lets see when is the first day i can do a mobile presentation to my customer! Come on!!

1 week of work.
Hi All !
I'm back to do a minor update on what I'm doing recently and of course, my newly found job.
It's been 1 week since I started working and it all start from my baby. Her fren's fren intro this job to me and referred me in, and I got the job.
The job is as a management trainee but as off now, Marketing Representatives. The scope of this job is rather different, people might mistook us for salesperson, but actually we are not. We are actually approaching companies to find business solution to them, to help them save cost and do a comparison on what they are having now.
My current campaign is StarHub, therefore meaning, what I do is all about Corporate Interent and mobile. So i would approach companies and find the chance to discuss with them on how to help them save their cost.
1st day, I was rather awkward becos im someone who dont really like so socialise. I'm someone who dont really enjoy approach people and ice break with them, or rather, i would like to be with myself and anyone i know, to stay in my comfort zone. However, after the 3rd day of work, i find it interesting instead. I learnt alot and i actually do not mind approaching people after these few days. I've actually improved and also developed into a more sociable person now. =)
tml is the start of 2nd week of my work. quite looking forward to it as its my last week of my probation.
Shall see how i do =)

New York Day 24
Today, will be my last night in New York City, yes, last night. After today, there wont be any night for me in New York already. By this time, tml, i will be already in the air on my way to Frankfurt for transit already. Quick huh. Which means, i got less than 24hours in New York already.
Theres good theres bad, i miss my home already. But will miss this holiday mood also as usual, whats more its the first time im away from home so long, not for NS training but holiday, and somewhere so far. Everything needs to come to an end, be it good or bad, this is a terrific experience for me to be here. Im here on Summer, hope i will have the chance, in the future, to come on a Autumn and Winter.
Today, went down to Chinatown to get American Ginseng. After that, headed over to a Korean restaurant for lunch. The food there was not bad, no wonder my brudda loves the food there. I heard from my aunt that my brudda, when he visited them few years back, he was in this restaurant for the same food everytime for at least 3 to 4 times. LOL! so i tried the same dish as he tried, was indeed not bad, now i know why he likes it.
So went back thereafter and started to pack. So many things to pack! But managed to get it done. Hope its not over weight, if not i will smell trouble! LOL!
Went down to have steambath and sauna again after dinner, will be my last session already, everything will be gone when im back to Singapore, the facilities, the politeness of the people who knows my aunt, etc, all will end.
I wont be blogging for the next few days already as i will be on the plane. I will reach SG on Saturday monrning, so wont be blogging till then, or maybe end of my entrie as im back in SG? Muhahahaha!

So, that somewhat rounded up my New York Adventure already. Tml morning, will head to iHop to have my last breakfast in New York and then head back home to do my final packing. I will have to leave home at about 4pm and a Shuttle Fan will come and pick me up.
Overall, New York was quite an experience. I came during the Summer, but this at this time, the Summer isn't really hot. The wind is cooling. The weather was really great.
New York City is a place about retro. Lots of building were actually built quite long ago. Subway isn't as advance as SG. Smoke coming up from drain holes due to the heat in underground, all these were stuff you could only see in New York.
People here are friendly. They respect the elders and will give up seats automatically to the elderly. Even boarding the bus/train/lift, they would let the elderly first. If you accidentally hit someone, they will say its okay, dun worry etc, unlike in SG, fight can be started.
Its another beautiful place, just too bad that i didnt have the chance to drive here, if not the experience will be really great. Imagine driving down the streets in New York. Hope next time, if i were to come back, there will be the chance for me to do it.

New York Day 23
The last 3rd day of my New York adventure, it will soon all come to an end, i still remember the day where i landed in JFK airport and met up wif my aunt here. It will soon all be memories.
Today, went to get all the stuffs done, including buying stuff for family etc. It will be the last few shoppings to do before heading back to homeland.
Went to Costco Warehouse to do the shopping. Shopped quite alot and ready to be brought home!
Before starting our shopping, we went to have a light lunch. Its something like Ikea, selling hotdogs and sundaes at unbeatable price.
After that, went on to get our stuff, we bought alot, which included aunt's stuff, not just mine.
Headed home and met a jam, so reached home bout near evening.
After dinner, went down to have a sauna, steam bath and jacuzzi session with my uncle again, chill and relax.

New York Day 22
Its a day of shopping, alone!
Yes, i went outlet shopping all by myself at Woodbury Common Premium Outlet!
Its really a big and popular price to shop for branded goods!
Lots of discounts, lots of brand! But range of course is lesser, but none the less, i got alot of purchases!
Brands like Prada, checked, Gucci, checked, Kate Spade, checked, Puma, checked, Converse, checked, Under Armour, Checked, Nike, checked....... much much more!
A really good experience there from 10.30am all the way to 6.30pm!
Tts really whole lot of shopping! =)
